Student of the Year Award

Nikita Tanwar of class X-D bagged the 'Student of The Year Award' by NIE Times. Prizes included a trophy, certificate and a cash prize of Rs.1000/- for her all round excellent performance in various fields in school and also at state and zonal level.

International Mathematics Olympiad 2008
Hunt for Maths Genius

Science Olympiad Foundation conducted the International Mathematics Olympiad at more than 1900 centers in India and abroad on 31stJanuary 2008. The results were declared on 25th April '08. Our students from classes III - X participated in the Olympiad & performed excellently. The Olympiad was held to test number skills, computation skills, fractions, patterns, geometry, measurement and data analysis. 52 Students received certificates for their distinctive performance.

Art Teacher Fecilitated

Blue Bells Model School, Gurgaon felicitated its Art Teacher, Parmanand Chaudhry in a function organized by Charu International Academy, Ghaziabad, hosted by Kulachi Hansraj Public School. The function was held in honour of the teachers who have given outstanding contribution in the field of painting. In a bid to make the atmosphere more lively and colourful a painting competition was also organized.

H.T. Pace Inter School Painting and Poster Making Competition at Suncity World School held on the 30th Jan 2008, was a spectacular event. All the prestigious schools of Gurgaon showed exemplary expression through their paint brush and innovative ideas surpassing all brilliance. Hemant Kaushik of class IX of our school won the First Prize in Poster making. The competition was tough with all the prestigious schools participating in the event.

The R.C.Gupta Memorial Charitable Trust had conducted on open Science and Mathematics competition for classes VI to X on 25th November 2007. Our students won maximum number of prizes and bagged the overall trophy as well.

Blue Bellian Cadets capture the prestigious award instituted by Sahara Group of India for the sixth consecutive year

Sahara Group of India in association with Director General of NCC conducted the famous Sahara Scholarship Exam. Two NCC Cadets from each NCC Unit of Haryana participated. Blue Bellians, Saurabh Ahuja and Sachin Muskeen represented 5 Haryana Battalion NCC Gurgaon and made us proud by winning the Sahara Scholarship Award with a cash prize of Rs 6000/- for the year 2005 and 2006 respectively.

All India CBSE National Badminton Championship, Indore
(9th December - 13th December, 2007)

CBSE organized the All India National Championship in the city of Indore, Gujrat. Besides teams from different parts of India, teams from countries like Saudi Arabia, Muscat, Kuwait, Oman, Dubai, Bahrain, U.A.E. also participated.

Our U-19 Girls team comprised of Aditi Sood, Aakriti Sood, and Shikha Bhargav. They won against quality teams of DPS, Vishakhapatnam, Apeejay School, Delhi and Indian International School Dhaman (Saudi Arabia) which augurs great for the team in their preparation for future championship.

GPSC organises Jewellery Designing, T-Shirt Designing, Face Painting, & Quiz Contest

Gurgaon Progressive Schools Council in association with Fashion Studies Department conducted a Jewellery Designing, T-Shirt Designing, Face Painting, & Quiz Contest at Salwan Public School . The jury included NIFT Alumni, Faculty, Head & Chairman of the host school. Our participants received awards in every category.

Amity International School organised CHITRANKAN - a grand art festival inviting students from number of schools to compete in different formats of painting. The event was divided into 7 categories: Collage, Drawing & painting, Poster making , Hand painting, Mural painting, Installation design , Relief work. The school won a number of prizes in different events.

An On-the-Spot Painting and Poster making Competition was organized at Bhavan's Sawan Public School, New Delhi. Principal, Mrs Chandan Dhawan was honored as the Chief Guest on the occasion. 18 schools fought tooth & nail in quest for the trophy and Blue Bells emerged as the final winner.

First Dushant Memorial Open State Taekwondo Championship
(27th-28th November, 2007)

Dushant Kumar Memorial Sports Academy, Gurgaon organized the first Dushant Kumar Memorial Open State Taekwondo Championship. A number of prestigious chools participated in the championship. Our participants managed to muster a host of Silver and Bronze Medals.

Blue Bellians Win Accolades At International Convention - Quality Circle
(28th November - 1st December, 2007)

The school participated in the 10th International convention on Students Quality Control Circles held at Lucknow. The event was organized by City Montessori School & Degree College under the aegis of QCI International, USA, Quality Circle Forum of India & World Council for Total Quality & excellence in education.

There were around 204 participating teams at the convention from different countries all over the world. The function was inaugurated by the Chief guest Prof. Mary Stuart - Dy. Vice Chancellor Kingston University, UK.

The school participated in Case Study Presentations, Debate, Poster & Slogan making & Collage competitions. Our team bagged the very prestigious "Deming Award" in the case study presentation. Congratulations to the Co-ordinator: Mrs Madhu Gupta & Team Members: - Akriti Gupta, Nikita Tanwar, Aditi Jain, Simran Kaur, Sukrit Sen & Neel Panja.

The case study presentation was highly appreciated by Judges, Participants & audience alike. The judges were so impressed by our presentation that they have invited our Chief coordinator Mrs Madhu Gupta to participate in the next International Convention to be held at Turkey. Director Mrs Suman Gulati & Principal Mrs C. Dhawan congratulated Mrs Gupta & her team for this great achievement.

An Inter school debate was organized at Amity International School. Nine schools across the city vied for the top slot. Our students Akriti Gupta ,Nikita Tanwar, and Naveen Dagar competed superbly by the dint of their irrefutable arguments and achieved the second rank.

All India CBSE Swimming Meet

The All India CBSE Swimming Meet was organized at SDAT Aquatic Complex, Velacherry in Chennai. A number of participants from India as well as the Gulf countries were invited to compete in different levels of the game.

Congratulations Shoan
(October, 2007)

Our student Shoan Jain of class VIII was selected as the NTSE scholar in the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) conducted by NCERT, in the year 2006-07. Shoan had cleared two written levels in 2006 and one interview level in 2007 successfully.

Her commendable exemplary performance won her rich dividends. She has been awarded a scholarship of Rs 500/- per month till she pursues her education, including graduation and post graduation.
