Regional Level Debate Competition

For Vigilance Awareness Week 2011, a debate competition was organized by CBSE , Panchkula Region at Satluj Public School, Sector-4, Panchkula . The topic of the competition was ‘Need For Lok Pall Bill When There Are Provisions For Checks And Balances In The Constitution’. 85 teams from Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh had participated in two rounds of the competition. In the first round, three teams were selected in two groups and then in the second round out of the six teams only two were selected for the finals. Our students Kriti Arora & Ashneet Kaur Nanda of Class XII brought laurels to the school by winning first prize.. It was really tough competition and the students had to really prove them worthy to their win. Mr. RJ Khanderao ,Regional officer, CBSE, was present throughout the event. Grand finale will be held during 14-18 November 2011 in New Delhi.

CBSE North Zone-II Swimming Championship was held at Rishikul Vidyapeeth School Sonepat. Three students from our school participated in the championship. They have done very well and brought the glory for the school while winning Gold and Silver Medals.

Sterling Holiday organized a Drawing Competition on the topic ‘Sea Beach/Hill Station” for all the students of Primary Wing. Students drew beautiful pictures blended with perfect colours. Three children were awarded 2 nights stay at a Sterling Destination.

Building Blocks arranged a Robotics Competition at Shri Ram School, Gurgaon. Around 50 schools participated in the competition. Our Blue Bellians brought laurels to the school and got First runner up trophy for the school along with Rs. 1400 cash vouchers and Robo kit to each participant.
