Inter School Quiz Competition

Blue Bellians always win laurels and accolades for their outstanding performance in any inter – school contest. Recently in the inter school Quiz Competition ‘Quiz Tornada’ organized by Meenakshi Public School , the students from the Primary Wing bagged the first position and their remarkable performance once again made Blue Bells proud. Dushyant Choudhary (IV A), Sparsh Khurana ( V A) and Kaustabh Ladha ( V B) successfully cleared the preliminary round and competed with three schools and played eight rounds scoring the highest points.
Four students from class III Nandini Bhardwaj, Harsh Khurana, Kashish Bhasin and Sourish Mittal along with Blue Bells Preparatory school students (class I and II) competed in the Dance Drama Competition ‘Colours of India’ and won the Second position. They represented Punjab portraying its culture, folk dance, and costume in a well choreographed dance - drama form.

Commerce Teachers Association’s (CTA) aim is professional enrichment by conducting workshops, seminars & career counseling. Chief Guest, Mr. Deepak Paintal, Vice-Chancellor, Delhi University, honoured Ridhi Sharma of Class XII (Session 2010-11) for scoring highest marks (Aggregate) in B.St. & Accountancy. He also honoured respective teachers, Ms. Sushma Tyagi and Ms. Sunita Yadav, for their professional excellence in their subjects. Total 120 meritorious students across Delhi & NCR were honoured for their commendable performance in commerce stream.

District Swimming Championship was held at Kamla Nehru Park Swimming Pool. Around 250 students participated in this championship. Our Blue Bellians once again brought laurels for the school. Mr. Sukhbir Kataria Minister of State Agriculture and Co-operative department was the Chief Guest. |

Creative Teens-A Digital Art Contest was organized by the Arena Multimedia. Our students participated in the Photoshop & Flash. Many prestigious schools of Gurgaon participated in the competition. Mr. Gurtaj Singh, Vice President of Arena Animation & Mr. Manish from Central Office of Arena Animation were the judges. Nikshu Bansal of Class IX A got First prize in the competition of Photoshop. |

Expressions India organized an International Young Film Making Festival (IYFMF-2011) where students of Blue Bells Model School bagged a special award of Authentic Movie.The festival had a day long session of screening movies made by the school children from 30 schools all over the country. A panel of judges from media, NDTV,Zee TV, Doordarshan, evaluated these entries and discussions and question answer sessions along with camera training sessions were held. The second day the 24th August, a breezing workshop was conducted by the well known author of the book ‘A Calmer You’ and an editor with HT – Madam Sonal Kalra. It was a fresh lease of life.A camera & photography workshop was conducted collectively by Kiran Bhardwaj, Amay Das – NDTV, Lokesh –DD, Gaurav Bhardwaj – NDTV and Mr. Nair of NDTV fame.
A few movie clips made by the above mentioned guests were screened and students were invited to pin point loop holes. A crisp session was conducted by Col. Raj Kapoor, the mentor of Shahrukh Khan. Our Blue Bellians once again have done very well and brought the laurels for the school. A special prize for ‘Original Entry’ was bagged by our school.
