Analyzing the critical problem of power
shortage in India, the school organized
an Inter-House power point presentation
competition on 17th July, 2008. All the
students of different houses took part in
this competition with zeal and enthusiasm.
Their creative slides showed the extent
of power shortage and suggested innovative
ideas to overcome this shortage. The outstanding
presentations of all the houses made it
difficult for our profound judges to decide
the winner of the day. Indira Gandhi house
was adjudged the winner.
In pursuance of this a poster-making competition
on the topic "Booming Population", was also
held between classes VI to VIII. Their colourful
paintings depicted the magnitude of how
serious the problem is.

'The school celebrated Mother's Day on 8th
May in the J.D. Hall of the school premises.
The celebration took place in the form of
a tiffin making competition organized for
the primary wing while the middle wing had
flower decoration and mocktail making competition
with dual participation of mothers and daughters.
The Judges for the competition were Mrs.
Soumya Gulati, Coordinator-Academics, Blue
Bells Group of schools and Mrs. Anshuka
Aneja, coordinator IT department, Blue Bells
Group of schools. The morning brought with
it the amalgamation of floral fragrances
and fruit punches with mouth-watering dishes
and taste buds doing salsa. The feather
in the cap was the participation of teachers-mothers
of Blue Bellians displaying their creative
skills. .

Labour
Day Celebrations |

To honour the support staff, the school
celebrated Labour Day in the school premises
on 1st May. The primary Wing organized an
Inter House English Declamation competition
on the topic 'Child-Labour'. The senior
wing presented a group song and a talk emphasizing
the dignity of labour.
Blue Bells Public School organized various
sport events for the support staff. A lunch
was hosted by the management for the support
staff, where Mr. B.D. Gulati, founder
chairperson and Mrs. Suman Gulati,
Director Blue Bells Group of School blessed
them and presented gifts.

An Inter House Hindi Poem Recitation Competition
was organised for the Primary Wing, by Nehru
House. The topic for the competition was
Prakriti. Two children from each
house participated. They were judged on
the basis of their fluency, props, expressions
and overall presentation.
