| TRANSPORT |

The school provides transport facility to the students through its own buses for transporting the students from different localities to the school and vice-versa. Parents who wish to avail the bus facility for their ward must contact school’s Accounts Office along with the Fee Booklet. They are required to duly complete the Consent Form and get the Bus Fee endorsed on their Fee Booklet. Parents are suggested to refrain from arranging rikshaws as a means of commuting to school to ensure the safety and security of their wards.
Bus charges will be paid quarterly along with the school fee at HDFC Bank SCF-36 Sec-4 HUDA Market Gurgaon. |

Bus routes are fixed and are not normally changed.

Although all precautions are taken to ensure the safety of the students traveling in buses, the school cannot be held responsible for any injury or mishap or death in case of an accident.
|

Bus facility once availed shall not be curtailed before the end of the session. Permission to curtail bus facility, if availed shall be granted only due to change in locality incase the locality is not on route for any route of the buses.
|

 |
In case a student wishes to withdraw the transport facility, specifically only due to the above mentioned reason a written request giving one month notice will have to be submitted to the Principal, failing which one month’s fee shall be charged in lieu of the notice period.

 |
Bicycle must be parked and locked at cycle stand properly. The student must take a token as a permission to park their bicycle in the school premises from the Accounts Department. The School authorities have already appointed a guard for safety & protection of cycles. So for parking the cycle charges @ Rs.180/- for six months (twice in a year) will be charged in April & October of the year. Token can be collected from accounts office.

The management reserves the right of amending or revising the transportation charges due to hike in taxes or price of petrol or diesel without any prior notice to the parents.

Transport facility is extended as a privilege and cannot be claimed as a right. It can be withdrawn any time due to any emergency. Certainly the student’s convenience will be kept in mind but it cannot be claimed legally. In case of sudden breakdown of the vehicles, parents will be requested to make their own arrangements whenever required. Your kind co-operation will be solicited.

Students from class XII availing bus facility shall be exempted from payment of bus fee only for the month of March. They shall not be entitled to the bus facility for commuting to Board Center.

school provides for a Medical Room where
medical aid is provided to the students.
The school engages the services of qualified
and competent Doctors and also has on
its rolls a General Physician, Pediatrician
and a Staff Nurse. Periodical Health-check
ups are a regular feature and the students
are also motivated towards Balanced
and Healthy Food Habits. The
school believes in imparting healthy
food habits to the students for a healthy
mind can reside only in a healthy body.
With this objective the school has implemented
a balanced diet menu for the students. |

Life Skill Education |
|
Life Skills Education as defined by the UNICEF is ‘a behaviour change or behaviour development approach designed to address a balance of three areas – Knowledge, Attitude and Skills’. The world bodies such as UNICEF, UNESCO and WHO list the 10 core life skills as Empathy, Self-Awareness, Building Skills, Creative Thinking, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Decision Making, Effective Communication, Interpersonal Relationship Skills, Coping with Stress and Coping with Emotions. Life Skills are essentially those abilities that help promote mental well being and competence in young people as they face the realities of life. Aiming at holistic growth of the students through introduction of CCE, Life Skill Education has been made mandatory in all schools affiliated to CBSE.

In sync with the same, the school has incorporated Life Skill education as an integral part of the curriculum. Such education is imparted through ‘School Cinema’ - a set of value-based movies for classes III to VIII along with Life Skills manuals by CBSE for classes VI to X. Students from classes IX and XII are a part of Teen Club and are thus empowered to take positive action to protect themselves and promote health and positive social relationships. Counselling Sessions and Workshops for adolescent empowerment are a regular feature of the school. The school joins hands with ‘Expressions India’ - an initiative of Dr. Jitender Nagpal, an eminent Psychiatrist and Panelist with CBSE for Life Skills Education. As a past initiative, LSE – Master Trainer Workshop under the aegis of AACCI was conducted in the school. Pedicon – 2012 - a Pre-Conference Seminar on Life Skills was conducted by Dr. Swati Bhave and Dr. Alka Saxena, Consultant - Health Care & Awareness, Blue Bells Group of Schools, Gurgaon.
