Celebrating “Labour Day”

Students of Blue Bells Preparatory School celebrated Labour Day on 1st May 2013 to salute the spirit of the helpers community. The celebration started with a talk by the students of class I , followed by dance and song performances by support staff. of the of the school. The headmistress Mrs Anu Sehgal spoke about the essence of hardwork and thanked the support staff of the school for their continual support and dedication. As a mark of love and respect the students of class I made cards of appreciation and gave them to the workers of the school. This gesture by the students truly touched the heart of each member of the support staff. The celebrations concluded with a special prayer by the staff and students of the school. |

Earth Day Celebration

Earth Day was celebrated by the students of Blue Bells Preparatory on 22.04.13.The importance of Earth, her elements_ air, water, land and creatures was beautifully
portrayed through a colourful bilingual street play ‘Dharti Ki Pukar’ by students of class II.
A poem on environment was appreciated by all. Students also proudly displayed slogans on Earth and environment done in the Earth Day Activity.
The Headmistress, Mrs. Anu Sehgal, planted a Sapling on the occasion and emphasized on the need to care for the environment.

Baisakhi and Ambedkar Jayanti Celebration

Students of Blue Bells Preparatory School celebrated the festival of Baisakhi with great zeal and fervor on 12.4.2013. Tamanna Goel of Class II enlightened the students about Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and the constitution. Krisha Gupta of class II spoke about the harvest festival of Baisakhi which was followed by a colourful and vibrant dance performance by the students of class II. The Headmistress Mrs. Anu Sehgal wished the students and staff a very happy Baisakhi.

Annual Day cum Prize Distribution Function

Blue Bells Preparatory School celebrated the grandeur and beauty of nature through their presentation – Trans-surreal – the Annual Day cum Prize Distribution Function on March 23rd 2013. Hon’ble Mr. Alok Mittal, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Gurgaon graced the occasion as Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour was Mrs. Nidhi Mittal. The function was graced by the benign presence of Shri Mahesh Chandra, Chairman, Blue Bells Group of Schools, Shri B.D. Gulati, Founder Chairperson, Blue Bells Group of Schools, Mrs. Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools, Mr. Ashish Gulati, Vice Chairperson, Blue Bells Group of Schools and other eminent dignitaries.
The inaugural ceremony commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest Mr. Alok Mittal, the Guest of Honour and members of the management. Mrs. Soumya Gulati, Academic Consultant, Blue Bells Group of Schools welcomed the Chief Guest and the august audience The program was ushered in by a welcome dance – a wonderful fusion of classical dance forms to seek enlightenment of the mind. The milestones of achievements and a blue print of ambitious plans were delivered through the Annual Report, presented by the Headmistress Mrs. Anu Sehgal.
Students were awarded prizes for their achievements in scholastic and co-scholastic activities. A total of 670 prizes were awarded to motivate the young talent. In his address, the Chief Guest Mr. Alok Mittal appreciated the efforts of the school in providing an excellent platform to the students to showcase their talent. Shri Mahesh Chandra, Chairman, Blue Bells Group of Schools and Mrs. Suman Gulati Director Blue Bells Group of Schools lauded the efforts of the meritorious students. A colourful extravaganza of rhyme & rhythm ‘Trans-surreal’ portrayed the fulfillment and accomplishment of dreams and goals through belief and hard work. The cartoon characters of Disney World came alive and conveyed the message of a happy world where nature is nurtured and not plundered.
In the Grand Finale, the little Blue Bellians gave wings to their dreams when many colourful balloons soared high, sending the message to mankind
“Let’s unite to save the Earth
With care, let’s give it rebirth”
The curtain was drawn to the spectacular show with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Mrs. Anjali Nagpal, Vice Principal, Blue Bells Model School, Gurgaon

Graduation Day for Class II

Graduation ceremony was held for students of class II on 15.03.2013. Upasana from class I gave a talk to bid farewell to the students of class II along with the spectacular dance performances given by Krisha Gupta and Tanishi Chugh of class I. The school Head Boy and Head Girl thanked the Headmistress Mrs. Anu Sehgal and all the teachers for their support and love. Our Headmistress blessed the children for their future.
Students of class I showed their love and affection towards their seniors by given them beautiful cards. Management of the school gave parting gifts to all the students. |

Basant Panchami celebration began with prayers offered to Goddess Saraswati, the Goddess of learning and wisdom. A melodious Saraswati Vandana was sung by a group of students followed by a talk by Manya Bassi of class II enlighting the significance of the day. A spectacular dance performance by the students of class II left the audience spellbound. |

CYBER KIDS CELEBRATE CHRYSALIS DAY Chrysalis Day was organized in Blue Bells Preparatory School on 15th February, 2013. The students of Class I and II got an opportunity to showcase their theme based projects in groups of four to five children. The projects designed by the students were a complete blend of subject, creativity and technology.

Blue Bells Preparatory School celebrated Republic Day with great zeal and fervor on 25.01.13. The tricolor was hoisted by Madam Soumya Gulati, Academic Consultant, Blue Bells Group of Schools, who kindly consented to grace the occasion.
The young patriots of classes I & II enlightened the audience about the importance of this National Festival. The rendition of a patriotic song by the young students of classes I and II mesmerized the audience. A colourful display of dances of the different states of India enthralled each and every one.
The prestigious Avantika Trophy, awarded to our school, was received by Madam Soumya Gulati. She also gave away the prizes to the young winners of the Athletic Meet held in our school on 24.01.13. Madam Soumya Gulati extended her greetings and good wishes to all the students and staff and expressed that all of us should dedicate ourselves in the service of our Motherland.

Children participated enthusiastically in preparing train , flowers, moon etc.with sandwiches and biscuits of different shapes. |

Multiple Intelligence camp 24th December 2012

The premises of Blue Bells Preparatory School wore a festive look with colourful tents and balloons on Christmas Eve i.e. 24.12.2012 when a ‘Festival of Multiple Intelligences’ was organized to explore the skills and creativity of the students of classes UKG, I and II. Students had a field day, enjoying an array of activities – Puppet Making and weaving stories, Brainstorming Sessions, Building with Robotics, Rock Climbing and Skill coordinating games, foot tapping music, dance and aerobics.
The young minds were thrilled and excited to witness the Planetarium which gave them an understanding of Astronomy and a true picture of the night sky – The Moon, Stars, Constellations, Galaxies etc..
Students relished the sumptuous lunch, the evening snacks with hot milk and a butter popcorn treat throughout the day. |

Gaeity and merriment filled the air as students of Blue Bells Preparatory School celebrated X-Mas on 21.12.2012. The vibrant hues of the festival came alive with spectacular dance performances by the young Blue Bellians. A melodious carol was presented by a group of students. The significance of the day and teachings of Lord Christ were depicted through a beautifully enacted skit. A Santa on skates accompanied by a fairy won the heart of the audience. The Headmistress, Mrs. Anu Sehgal and Nursery Incharge Mrs. Kalsi graced the occasion with their presence. The Headmistress lauded the efforts of the students and wished everyone a Merry-X-Mas. |

The students of classes Nursery and LKG were taken to the Air Force Museum, New Delhi on 19.12.12 The enthusiastic students were thrilled to see aircrafts, jet planes, fighter planes, tanks, missiles, helicopters, spaceships, etc..
The museum had various other things on display such as rifles, swords, parachutes, stamps, uniforms of Army, Air Force and Navy.
It was a fun filled edutrip for the little ones. |

Mothers of Subhreet ( Nursery 2), Ritika ( Nursery 3), Bisman (L.K.G.4) were invited to share the teachings of Guru Nanak Ji with our students. Five students were dressed up as ‘Panj Pyare ‘. A melodious shabad by the little ones enthralled the audience.

Being a highly spiritual country, festivals are at the heart of peoples lives in India. An Inter School Competition was hosted for experiencing Indian Culture at its best.

19 reputed schools of Gurgaon participated in the mega event. The creative morning put together by our little wonders showcased their talent through an array of creative activities. The various events were Creative Zest, Divine Attires, Magic-O-Fingers, Quiz-A-Fest, Rhythmic Beat and Rang-Umang.

It was festive time at Blue Bells Preparatory School, as the young students celebrated Navratri and Dussehra on Friday i.e. 19.10.2012. The tiny tots of Nursery, LKG and UKG presented beautiful poems related to Dussehra. A skit ‘Mahishasur Vardani – Maa Durga’, by class II students enjoyed and appreciated by all. ‘Dandiya’ by UKG students enthralled the audience. The Headmistress, Mrs. Anu Sehgal, wished everyone a very Happy Dussehra. As the effigy of Ravana was torched by the Headmistress, the students clapped their hands with joy. |
