Blue bells Public School is
not just another school but
an institution that is pioneering
a pedagogy focusing entirely
on nurturing and developing
the skills, aptitudes as well
as attitudes needed for a meaningful
existence in the 21st century.
The school set out with the
very clear vision that in today's
world, the very definition of
education has transformed. 'Mentoring'
takes precedence over mere transmitting
of information and there is
a critical difference between
acquiring information and understanding-
knowing. It is crucial that
the nurturing of ethical values
and behaviour must underpin
the entire education system.
Only then can we empower the
young to deal with conflicts
with confidence, and show sensitivity
in their dealings. Sharing and
caring must come to them instinctively.
we hone the academic skills,
fine-tune the aesthetic senses
and work towards building a
Holistic culture that values
the individuality of each pupil,
helping them realize their innate
potential. Children are encouraged
to explore and revel in the
joy of learning. Rote learning
is discouraged and Research
Based learning is the norm,
where each pupil is guided through
an individualized work plan
in consonance with his/her potential,
thereby providing a complete
learning experience. Though
academics play an important
role yet without the holistic
inputs, a rounded personality
will not emerge. We need to
blend both these facets of education
to the advantage of the unique
learning, working and thinking
styles of children. We dream
that when students leave the
school they will be informed,
intuitive and responsible citizens
who will 'go forth unafraid
into the future and take the
