Victory is our motto, winning is our habit whatever we desire, we accomplish, we achieve. With this basic guiding principle our students participate in all the competitions. The students not only prove their mettle but also act as tough competitors to the other participants. Continuing with the glorious tradition, the students participated in ACCESS 2011, an Inter School Competition at Modern School, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi. Around 85 renowned schools from Delhi & NCR participated in the competition. Pahuna Gulati & Vishisht Makkar bagged the First position in the Junior Quiz Competition.The Management, Director & Principal of the school extended their felicitations to the winners for achieving this astounding feat.

Information Technology has become an effective medium to unleash one’s innate potential and to articulate one’s thoughts, feelings and emotions. An inter School IT Fest was organized at Blue Bells Preparatory School. The students expressed their ideas in an effective and highly relevant manner. The competition also provided them with the unique platform to unravel their quest for knowledge in the IT Sector. Goohika Joshi of LKG Pansy bagged the First position in the Tech Basket Event where she was dressed as Computer Virus and spoke about it. In other event of Colour Splash, Dhruv of UKG Rose got the Consolation prize. The level of the competition was tough as twenty five top schools of Gurgaon & NCR participated in the event. The efforts of the students were applauded by the judges.

Creativity involves stepping into the realm of imagination on a flight of fancy and an act of aesthetic creation is not only a product of toil, sweat and tears, but is also born out of an intense desire to give concrete shape to one’s dream. To represent the various ideals, principles and ideologies of technology , Arena Multimedia organised an Inter School Competition wherein prestigious schools of Gurgaon participated. Nivesh Yadav of Class X bagged the first position in Photoshop Computer Software presenting his views and expression on Corruption. The Competition was adjudged by Mr. Gurtaj Singh, Assistant Vice President, Arena Multimedia. It was a remarkable feat achieved by Nivesh for which he received felicitations from the Director, Management and Mrs. Anshuka Aneja , IT Coordinator ,Blue Bells Group Of Schools,Gurgaon.

Inter School Declamation Contest

Every day is an opportunity to be creative- the canvas is your mind, the brushes and colours are your thoughts and feelings…… Language is an effective medium to unleash one’s innate potential and to articulate one’s thoughts, feelings and emotions. An Inter School Declamation Competition was organized for the at Ajanta Public School as a part of ‘Livewire : Talent Hunt Show’. Kashika Gulati of Class IX presented her thoughts on the topic- ‘Girls are blessings’. She expressed her ideas in an effective and highly relevant manner and bagged the third position . The level of the Competition was tough as students from the renowned schools from Delhi & NCR participated. The Director and Management have extended their felicitations to Kashika for achieving this feat.

Adolescence is a transient phase in the life of every youngster, a period of trial and tribulation, often marked by stress and strain. After being launched, the AEP Club of the school has played a pioneering role in catering to such issues concerning adolescence. As a part of implementing this module, the students of the school participated in the International Young Film Makers’ Festival (IYFMF). The students prepared a Film on Substance Abuse and its impact on the young adolescents. It was showcased in front of an expert panel of jury comprising of Dr. Jitender Nagpal , Program Director, Expressions India and other renowned people from the world of Television and Documentary Film Making. The Presentation was prepared by the school team comprising of Mrs. Shikha Bhan, Mrs. Shiveta Kaul, Mr. Dinesh and eight student members of AEP Club & Photography Club under the able guidance of Dr. Alka Saxena , Consultant (Health Care & Awareness), Blue Bells Group of Schools,Gurgaon . Their effort was appreciated by the judges and the school won the Special Jury Award for the same.

“Creativity is the perverting the mundane to find the marvelous”

Vision is the art of seeing things invisible. Creativity is thinking up new things and innovation is doing new things. To hone the inherent potentials of the students the school participated in an Inter School Cultural Festival for Choreography and Theatre, hosted by The Sri Ram School-Aravali on 3rd August 2011. The students presented ‘Buddha Nirvana’ in Choreography Competition where the theme given was Implode. The school team bagged the BEST COSTUME AWARD among the top notch schools of Delhi & NCR. In the theatre the students exhibited how objects in a mirror are closer than they appear. The efforts of the students were applauded by the judges. It was a learning and an enriching experience for all the students.

Rang Utsav- painting competition

Nature has endowed us with the most beautiful flora and fauna which is now facing a grave danger. In its endeavour to imbibe the values of our culture and a love for the environment. Times NIE along with Blue Bells Group of Schools, Gurgaon held the RANG UTSAV painting Competition.

Raunak Trikha, student of Class IXA of Blue Bells Public School, Sector-10 bagged the second position in the Senior Category. His theme was “Save the environment” or “Fighting against terrorism”. He had chosen the theme of environment to depict the extent of callousness of human beings in destroying Mother Earth. In his painting, he has shown the earth in two phases- the earlier green phase and the present black phase If not stopped will surely lead to destruction. Times NIE gave away a trophy and cash prize of Rs. 3,000 to Raunak. Mrs. C. Dhawan,Principal, appreciated the child for bagging second position and bringing laurel to the alma mater.

In the All India Camel Colour Contest that was held on February 11, 2011 at the National Bal Bhawan, Delhi, Shristi Punia bagged the First position at the National Level and Nishu Jain and Shristi Punia bagged the First position at the Regional Level.
