Investiture Ceremony Of Students Council of Primary Wing

The best way to foster leadership qualities and academic skills among the students is to delegate some important duties to them. Keeping this in view, a student’s council is formed every year which is the representation structure for students through which they get involved in important issues of the school by sharing the responsibilities. It teaches children to truly make a difference in every facet of school, community and the world society at large. Following the spirit of this meaningful students’ involvement, the Students Council of the Primary Wing was constituted. The Investiture Ceremony was held and all the Council members were conferred the badges by Senior Wing and Primary Wing In-charges.
The Head Boy and the Head Girl were chosen through polling by the students of classes III – V which was held earlier this month. The House Captains, Vice Captains, Sports Secretary and Prefects were chosen through nominations by the respective House In- charges and the student members of the Houses. It looked very graceful when all the members of the Council graced the stage with their presence and surely it was an important day in the lives of the elected members of the council team when they walked to the stage
and thanked the teachers and the students for giving them this opportunity and promised to uphold the true spirit of the school – ‘Be Honest Be Brave’. The motivated demeanour of the members of the council was proof enough that Blue Bells Public School has crossed yet another threshold in creating an inspiring legacy for the future. The members promised that the student council would uphold the BLUEBELLIANS vision and wholeheartedly take over their responsibilities. Each of the student council members will have to wear the badge honoured to them, every day, as a reminder of the important responsibilities that they have. All in all a very deserving group of students is appointed as members of the council with the hope that they will live up to the expectations of everyone especially their teachers and their peers.

Inter House/Club Display Board Competition

“Creativity is piercing the mundane to find the marvelous.”
Creativity is more than being different , it makes the complicated things awesomely simple. The act of creation is that vision that can generate many emotions –like sweat, tears and exhaustion but is also brings thrills, satisfaction, and immense pleasure once the task is completed. To present the diverse facets of the subjects and the Clubs an Inter House /Club Display Board Competition was organized for Class I – XI. The competition was adjudged by the panel of jury comprising of Mrs. Anjali Nagpal, Senior Wing In Charge, Blue Bells Model School , Mrs. Anshu Malika, Primary Wing In Charge, Blue Bells Model School and Mrs. Anu Sehgal, Headmistress, Blue Bells Preparatory School. The judges appreciated the artistic presentation of the students and the teachers. The result of the competition is :-

In the present scenario, education has become an inter play of multiple factors and is replete with ceaseless activities. Education combined with leadership qualities helps young minds to overcome insurmountable difficulties to become great leaders. With this belief, the school organized the Investiture Ceremony. Sanjay Khan, the Head Boy and Ridhi Arya, the Head Girl took the pledge along with the other newly elected Student Council Members to be the torch-bearers of the school and to carry its glorious legacy to unprecedented heights. They promised to work wholeheartedly to instill creativity, discipline and responsibility among the students.

"Man’s devotion towards truth becomes an unerring source of power and greatness."
Human life has dignity at every age , the taking of innocent human life is always wrong. Language is an effective medium to unleash one’s innate potential and to articulate one’s thoughts, feelings and emotions. An Inter House Declamation Competition was organized for the students of class IX to XI on the topic: “Euthanasia : Should it be legalized”. The students expressed their ideas in an effective and highly relevant manner. The competition was adjudged by members of the senior English faculty who were vastly impressed by the content, relevance and expression of the speakers. The result tabulated is as follows:

Inter House Cyber Competition

Millennium change is witnessing a major change in every part or field of the human’s life as computers usage has increased by leaps and bounds worldwide. The ongoing internet revolution has helped in the emergence of a new computer community i.e. Cyber Community. To encourage and promote the future Cyber Community, an Inter House Cyber Competition was organized for the students of classes III to V.

Doctor’s Day Celebration

The suffering in our lives and in our human body are helped by a very important section of our society i.e. “The Doctors” To enlighten the students with the importance of Doctor’s Day, A talk show was presented by the primary wing in which students asked their queries related to the health from a team of the doctors enacted by the students only. It was a memorable experience for the students as it enhanced their knowledge and they were convinced that they have to take care of themselves in the following way.

- Breathe Deeply
- Live Moderately
- Cultivate Cheerfulness and maintain an interest in life
All the students of III to V performed the various activities in which students from class III were dressed up as specialized doctors and spoke a few lines about their profession. Students of IV standard prepared “Thanks Giving Card” for their family Doctors and students of class V performed the Cleanliness Drive in the school carrying placard and banners to bring the awareness about the importance of cleanliness.
