Orientation
Programme

At the threshold of a
new academic session an
Orientation Programme
was organized for the
Pre-Primary Department.
The programme was conducted
by Academic Coordinator,
Mrs. Soumya Gulati and
Principal, Mrs Anuradha
Pant. The guests were
formally welcomed by Mrs.
Anuradha Pant. The students
presented a well synchronized
cultural programme. Mrs.
Soumya Gulati apprised
the parents about the
school and the teaching
methodology being adopted
by the school. The parents
were briefed about the
various unique features
of our school curriculum
like Spiritual Education,
Physical Education, Computer
Education, Health & Hygiene,
Evaluation System, Transport
and Dispersal. The vote
of Thanks was presented
by Ms. Rita. It was an
educative and learning
experience for all those
who were part of the programme.

Holi Celebration
26th February,
2010 |

The School celebrated
the festival of Holi with
great pomp and jubilation
in the school premises.
A special assembly was
held to mark this prestigious
occasion. The occasion
was a synchronization
of different performances
presented by the students
form pre-primary to senior
classes.
The occasion was graced
by Principal Mrs. Anuradha
Pant, Pre Primary wing
in charge, Mrs. Jyoti
Mattoo, the teaching staff
and the students. Suhana
of LKG -Pansy briefed
the gathering about the
popular legend that Holi
is remembered for the
sacrifice of Holika who
burnt herself in fire
on this day and the other
legend associated with
Prahlada and Hirankashyapa
that reminds one of the
victories of ‘Good over
Evil’. Students enthralled
all with magnificent dance
performances that scattered
aura of colours.
The Principal on behalf
of the Management greeted
all with best wishes on
the eve of Holi and cautioned
the students to play safe,
dry, environment and health
friendly organic holi.

Farewell - Class
X
20th February,

To bid adieu to Class
X batch, Farewell Ceremony
was organized in Blue
Bells Public school on
20th February 2010. Best
wishes coupled with Hawan,
was the traditional way,
in which the students
were given blessing by
Principal, BBPS, Mrs.
Anuradha Pant and all
the teaching and non teaching
faculty members as they
set out to meet the challenges
of the outer world. After
the Hawan, the farewell
programme for class-X
‘Jagruti 2010’ was organized
by the students of Class-IX
with great zeal and enthusiasm.
The occasion was graced
by the presence of Mrs.
Soumya Gulati, Academic
Consultant, BBGS, Mrs.
N. Bhatti, Vice Principal,
BBMS, and Mrs. Anuradha
Pant, Principal, BBPS.
The students of Class-IX
presented a well synchronized
programme filled with
the moments of fun and
joy. The students of Class
X felt a mixed emotion,
the students were happy
as the students would
be getting a platform
to excel and reach unparalleled
heights of success: but
the moment was also accompanied
with tears as they were
bidding adieu to the school.
Mrs. Soumya Gulati further
stressed and told students
that should be connoisseur
of values, which are firmly
rooted to their conscience
and reposed her faith
and trust in their honesty
and intellect to strengthen
the moral fabric of the
society. She further aspired
that they would be the
torch bearers of rich
Indian tradition and culture.
Mrs. N. Bhatti, Vice Principal,
BBMS also blessed the
students for their bright
and prosperous future.
Mrs. Anuradha Pant, Principal,
BBPS also wished the students
the best of luck for the
forthcoming examinations.
It was a mesmerizing experience
for all.

Maha Shivaratri
Celebration
12th February,

The festival of Mahashivaratri
was celebrated in the
school premises with great
pomp and show by the students
and staff. Mahashivaratri
,one of the most important
Hindu festivals, is observed
with due religiosity as
it is believed that Lord
Shiva absolves His devotees
of sins and blesses to
attain moksha or salvation
.
Celebrating
the festival of Shivaratri
the Choir group presented
a ‘bhajan’ devoted to
Lord Shiva. Bhavesh of
class VII through his
speech highlighted the
esoteric explanation of
Mahashivaratri. Jahnvi
of class II presented
Shiva Tandava in her solo
dance performance and
depicted the philosophy
behind Three Gunas i.e.
Tamas, Rajas and Satwik
, i.e. Structure, Metabolism
and Intellect. On this
occasion Ayushi and Prashorya
of class IV presented
a sitar performance. Mrs.
Jyoti Mattoo, Incharge
Pre-Primary wing, enlightened
the students about the
Scientific Explanation
of Maha Shiv Ratri.

Basant Panchmi
Celebration
20th January,
2010 |

Every festival is celebrated
with utmost zeal & zest
in Blue Bells with the
motto to enlighten the
students about our rich
cultural heritage. To
pay a tribute to the Goddess
of knowledge, Goddess
Saraswati. Basant Panchami
was celebrated in the
school. The dress code
for the teachers was declared
to be Yellow traditional
wear. The celebration
was given a pious start
with the chanting of a
Sanskrit shloka emphasizing
and stressing the importance
of education in nurturing
and shaping the identity
of an individual. Members
of Blue Bells Family prayed
to Goddess Saraswati,
to bestow her blessings
to bring eternal happiness.
Students presented a well
synchronized cultural
programme which included
a talk, poem, and dance.
It was an informative
way to start the proceedings
of the day.

Inter-House
Salad Making Competition
|

To inculcate and infuse
the sense of healthy eating
habits, an Inter House
Salad Making Competition
was organized for classes
VII-IX. The students researched
well to prepare nutritious
salad with mouth watering
recipe and magnificent
presentation. The time
allotted to the students
to prepare and present
their salads was one hour.
It was a tough decision
for the judges to adjudge
the best salad. The result
for the competition was
announced by Principal,
Mrs. Anuradha Pant. The
results of the competition
