To commemorate the birth anniversary of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak, a speare celebration adorned the morning assembly on 23rd July 2010. the students presented their thoughts on the visions & ideology of Lokmanya Tilak. Aakash Tomar of class VI enlightened the audience about his life and achievements. The celebration concluded with the words of blessing by the Principal, Mrs. Pant. She told the students to follow the path of freedom and truth to attain success and eternal peace.

An Inter House Essay Writing Competition was organized for class VIII. There were two entries per house - the topic given to the students was "E-Mail: The fastest & Quickest Way of Communication." The panel of jury comprised of English faculty members of the school. The level of the competition was high and it was a tough decision for the judges to adjudge the winner. The result is as follows:

A spell bee competition was organised for Primary classes, in order to improve the vocabulary strength of the students. To encourage overall participation, the first round was held as an intra-class competition. The Final round comprised of long spellings, jumbled words, homonyms, and words with silent letters. C.V Raman house bagged the first prize followed by Sarojini Naidu and Kalpana Chawla respectively. The whole competition was enjoyed by the students and also acted as a morale booster for language enhancement.

Doctors serve humanity in a wonderful way by treating the sufferers and healing their pain. In order to show respect to this noble profession, DOCTOR’S DAY was celebrated in the school. The celebration was organized by SAROJINI NAIDU HOUSE. The students highlighted the various fields of medical practitioners as part of significance of the day. They also presented themselves as different medical specialists like eye specialist, dietician, heart specialist, general physician etc. Besides giving information on the different specialties, they gave valuable tips to the children about first –aid and how to maintain good health. The show was an informative and valuable presentation by the students with the full support and guidance of the teachers.

To commemorate 150th birth anniversary of great poet Guru Rabindra Nath Tagore a recitation competition was held in the school premises. Some fine selections of Rabindra Nath Tagore were heard with perfect rhythm and voice modulation. To celebrate the glory of motherhood and to pay homage to this divine symbol of selfless love and unconditional support, Bluebells Public School organized a special programme on the occasion of Mother’s Day on May 8 in the school premises. Four exciting rounds of competitions were held in honour of this momentous occasion, namely Creativity with Fruits and Vegetables, Slogan Writing, Flower Arrangement and the grand finale’, a scintillating Fashion Show. Mother and Child teams participated whole-heartedly with a lot of enthusiasm and zeal.

The esteemed panel of judges comprised of Mrs Neelam Mehta, renowned Personality Developer and Grooming Expert, Mr Ramesh Walter, Senior English Teacher, Bluebells Model School and Ms Sucheta, Dance Teacher, Blue Bells Model School. Principal, Mrs Anuradha Pant, felicitated all the super-mothers who attended the programme and shared her own thoughts and feelings on this memorable occasion. In order to express gratitude to the support staff of the institution and in recognition of the hard labour put in by them, Labour Day was celebrated in the school premises on May1. Various games and activities were conducted in which all the employees participated with a lot of enthusiasm and zeal. This was followed by a colourful cultural programme in which the employees showed their musical potential and singing talent. The programme was anchored by Dr Vibha Matharu who also recited a beautiful poem in Hindi. Director, Mrs Suman Gulati, graced this momentous occasion as the Chief Guest and gave away the prizes to the winners. In her inspiring speech, she stressed on the fact that each and every employee is vitally important to the institution and plays a significant role in its development.
