| Blue Bells Celebrates Sanskarshala |

| The annual prize distribution of Sanskarshala, a value based examination, was organized in Blue Bells Public School,Sector-10. The students of the School presented a well-synchronised programme, with a blend of shlokas, spiritual hymns,classical and folk dance forms of India. The Chief Guest was Dr. Parveen Kumar, HUDA Administrator. The achievers of the National level competition were given trophies by Dr.Parveen Kumar and Mrs. Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools, Gurgaon. |

| Founder’s Day was celebrated with utmost zeal and enthusiasm at Blue Bells Public School,Sector-10. The celebration began with a havan , in which members of the School Management, faculty members and students took part. Thereafter, a special assembly was organized where the students with 100% attendance the academic session 2011-12 were awarded. The students traced the history of the school over the decade. The highlight of the celebrations was the concern of the students towards social and environmental issues. The heritage club of the school took out a rally to acquaint the people around of the preservation of environment. The programme concluded with aninspiring dance presentation by the students on the theme,Save Water Save Life. Mrs. Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools,Gurgaon, asked the students to focus on their goals and achieve the pinnacle of success. |

| Blue Bells Public School,Sector-10,Gurgaon celebrated its Founder’s Day on April 10. The heritage club of the school took out a rally to acquaint the people around on the preservation of precious flora with the motto ‘Clean Earth Green Earth’. The celebration started on a spiritual note with a hawan that was performed by Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools,Gurgaon, Suman Gulati, School Principal, C.Dhawan, faculty members and students. A special assembly was organized wherein the students with 100% attendance in the academic session 2011-12 were awarded trophies for regularity and punctuality.Ms. Gulati asked the students to have resolute focus to accomplish all their set goals. The programme ended with a dance presentation on the theme ‘Save Water Save life. |

| Spell Bee Delhi-NCR Round at Blue Bells |

Blue Bells Public School, Sector 10, Gurgaon, proudly hosted the Delhi NCR City Finale of HDFC Life Spell Bee- India Spells 2012, fourth edition of India’s largest spelling Competition for school students. The students of twelve premier schools of Delhi NCR fought this exciting battle of words. There were more than 91 students who competed to make their place for the Finals at Mumbai. The winner of the Finals will get a chance to witness the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington DC.
Mrs. Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools,Gurgaon, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and gave away the prizes to all the winners. Nayantara Mudur of Amity International School came out victorious. Saptarshi Maumdar of DPS, Ghaziabad & Nupur Balan of Pathways World School, Gurgaon were the runners up. Radio Mirchi RJ Rohit was the Quiz Master for the competition. Speaking on the occasion, Director Ma’am congratulated the winners and asked the students to work hard and hone their vocabulary which is a prerequisite to gain control and command over the language. |

| Blue Bells Public School organized a workshop called ‘PEDICON 2012’ to orient the Paediatricians on life skill education for school children, The workshop , that was taken by Dr.Swati Bhave, Adolescent & Healthcare Expert, saw active participation by students. They were taught about life skills using lecture and interactive discussion. The students shared their concerns on various issues like self-esteem, self-awareness and effective communication. It was and informative workshop for all the participants. |

| Debate Competition at Blue Bells |

| Times-NIE, in association with Blue Bells Group of Schools,Gurgaon organized a two-day debate competition for the schools of Gurgaon,Dwarka and South Delhi on December 20 and 21. The event saw participation of 32 schools across the regions. The preliminary round for the schools of Gurgaon was conducted at Blue Bells Public schools,Sec-10,Gurgaon. Dr.Alka Saxena,Consultant,Healthcare & Awareness and Soumya Gulati,Academic Co-ordinator,Blue Bells Group of Schools,Gurgaonwere the chief guests of the event.The topic for elimination round was ‘Reality Shows-A mockery of emotions’. Nine teams qualified for the final round which was held on December 21. On day two, Suman Gulati,Director,Blue Bells Group of Schools,Gurgaon, presided as the chief guest. Rakesh Sharma, market sales representative, BSA Cycle and Sudeep Dagar, from Adventure Island were also present. The pivotal point of the debate was ‘Lokpal Bill- Wanted or Imposed’. Ashish Gulati, Vice Chairman, Blue Bells Group of Schools,Gurgaon, appreciated the vision and confidence of the participants in handling these contemporary issues. The winner speaker ‘ For the motion’ on implementation of Lokpal Vill was Shreya Singh, Sherwood Convent School whereas Radhika Gupta of Blue Bells Model School won the fight ‘against the motion’. The first runner up ‘for’ and ‘against’ the motion were Titiksha from Blue Bells Model School and Shivangi from N K Bagrodia School, Dwarka respectively. Ruchika Yadav of Ryan International Sohna Road was declared the ‘Best Interjector’ and prize for the best team went to Blue Bells Model School,Sec.-4, Gurgaon. The prizes were sponsored by Green partner,BSA Hercules cycle and Adventure Island. |
