| An education isn’t
how much you have committed to memory, or
even how much you know. It’s being able
to differentiate between what you do know
and what you don’t. It’s knowing
where to find what you need to know; and it’s
knowing how to use the information you get. |

Blue Bells Model
Sr Sec School’s upcoming
branch, Blue Bells Public School,
Sector-10 bagged the first position
in the Rangoli and Fancy Dress
competitions at the annual spring
festival organized by the Haryana
Urban Development Authority (HUDA)
at the Leisure Valley Park recently.
The organizers appreciated the
concept and visualization of the
Rangoli theme. Rangoli depicted
the developing landscape of Gurgaon.
The background portrayed the innumerable
skyscrapers and malls that have
come up in the city in a span
of two years converting it into
the most desired metropolitan
destination of today. The visual
also brought out the other side
of urban development – increase
in crime, rising pollution and
threat to the environment. The
slogan, “Save Gurgaon, the
pride of Haryana” came as
the message from the students
of Blue Bells and was appreciated
by the organizers. Director of
the school Suman Gulati said “the
pace of urbanization has increased
the responsibility of the schools.
In today’s scenario schools
ought to take cognizance of their
responsibility as the gatekeepers
of morality and of the value system
of the society”. The theme
was chosen to inculcate in students
a sense of responsibility towards
the society, said Headmistress
Narinder Bhatti. A class VI student
of the school Anurag Mangla bagged
the first prize in the fancy dress
competition portraying the burning
topic of violence in the name
of religion. Blue Bells School
is a premium institution spearheading
education in Gurgaon for the past
23 years. The flagship branch
of the school is located in Sector
4, Gurgaon and was started by
the founder Principal and director
Suman Gulati in 1980. In those
early years when the town faced
shortage of good schools, Mrs.
Gulati took up the challenge.
It has since stood the test of
time and has emerged as a leader
in school education. The school
has also started a new branch
under the name of Blue Bells Public
School, Sector 10, Gurgaon. The
new branch with its ultramodern
infrastructure is another step
towards providing world-class
education to the citizens of Gurgaon. |
