The school has a well-equipped Medical Room with full-time nurses and doctors to provide first aid to students and staff. The annual medical check-up is an important regular event of the school.

All parents are requested to make their children aware of the following healthy practices:

  1. Maintain personal hygiene—trimming nails, regular haircuts, and general neatness.
  2. Exercise regularly.
  3. Sleep for at least eight hours every night.
  4. Have a nutritionally balanced diet.
  5. Drink adequate amount of water and stay well-hydrated.

Parents are also requested to take care of the following health-related requirements of their children:

  1. Get dental and ophthalmic check-up of the child done by a specialist once a year.
  2. Deworm your child at least once a year—consult your family physician.
  3. Get your child Immunised as per the Government guidelines—consult your paediatrician.
  4. Students suffering from infectious diseases like conjunctivitis, dermatitis, scabies, chicken pox, measles, etc. should not be sent to school.
  5. Students suffering from chronic diseases like asthma, epilepsy, rheumatic heart diseases, diabetes, etc. are advised to be under continuous medical supervision of a specialist doctor. History of their illness must be filled up in the Almanac along with the treatment being taken.
